The establishment of Zambesi Technical College in Binga has been received with a countless "wows". The young people of Binga have never in their wildest dreams envisioned the coming of a higher learning institute in their own district.

Girls are the most happy. Most girls marry at a young age after failing to attend college and since generally boys are given better chances to education, it is rare in a remote rural area for a girl to be prioritised.

On hearing about the opening of the college, one girl exclaimed " I have wanted to go to college for a long time, but when I thought of where I will stay, who will pay for my fees I just kept on giving up ".
