Traditional Maliko Lwiindi Ceremony 2026 in Sinazongwe

The Traditional Maliko Lwindi Ceremony was held on Saturday 5th September 2026  in Sinazongwe. The event was graced by Mr. Beston Mboozi who represented the Permanent Secretary for Southern Province Engineer Gift Moonde. The event attracted over 13 Chiefs and Chieftainess from different districts across Southern Province, Heads of Government and Parastatal organizations. 

Her Royal Highness Chieftainess Sinazongwe expressed sincere gratitude to the Government of the Republic of Zambia for key developments that the District has witnessed through  great implementation of the Constituency Fund and other key projects such as the Maamba Batoka road. She urged Government to continue on the same trajectory. The Guest of Honour assured Her Royal Highness that Sinazongwe will see more development especially now that the District has been given a new constituency which brings its CDF allocation to Eighty Million Kwacha as a District; making it easy for the District to implement more projects. Mr. Mbozi  expressed gratitude for the fact that throughout the celebration, key messages and performances including the speech by Her Royal Highness were expressing gratitude for the Development taking place in the District.
