AlphaSmart Europe Ltd supporting Tonga.Online extension

We are excited about the donation of another 25 AlphaSmart 2000 devices for Tonga.Online extension by AlphaSmart Europe Ltd!! 

Mr Dirk Foch from AlphaSmart Europe wrote: "We would be happy to accommodate you with 25 AlphaSmarts 2000 to support your outreach program if you can arrange for transportation to Tonga (area). We would be happy to deliver to any point in the UK, and prepare the units for export."
These are excellent news indeed and with our partner WorldLinks we are preparing for the shipment of the consignment to Zimbabwe and Binga.

We will specify how these additional AlphaSmart products are put to good and sustainable use. From experience gained during the last two years Penny Yon has delivered a very interesting account of the application of so far 12 AlphaSmarts in a special development and educational context. When submitting our Tonga.Online entry to the Prix Ars Electronica 2004 under the title "smart X tension", which is relating to the outreach program with AlphaSmarts, we didn't know that we will succeed doublefold: by winning an Award of Distinction and 25 more AlphaSmarts on top!!
