Encouraged by the response, the project has been striving to reach out to other villages and across the waters of the Zambezi River into Zambia. In May 2004 two more Telecenters will be set up at Siachilaba, the home of Simonga Ngoma Buntibe group, and at Sianzyundu Secondary School. The Festival is celebrating the official opening of these community based resource centers with an encounter of Tonga Ngoma Buntibe groups from Binga area and from Chief Sinazongwe area across the waters of the Zambezi River in Zambia. Tonga music as the traditional way to communicate values and vision will be complemented by modern tools of communication in the celebration of the extension of the Tonga.Online project and its prominent international recognition by the Prix Ars Electronica 2004.

The festival is expecting visitors and musicians from the capital Harare and from as far as Austria. It will be linked via Internet and SW Radio with the Ars Electronica Festival which takes place in Linz / Austria around the same time.
